Youth Programs

Help us build and sustain our youth programs. The funds received will help cover expenses affiliated with running our youth programs. Some of these expenses include:

Currently, the average cost for an AMF youth program is approximately $12,500/season. These programs serve roughly 75 children per season.
Your contributions will not only go towards funding our existing programs. As we grow, we will begin to pour into our program expansion plan, which includes the addition of music, STEAM, and business!
Family Support Resources
Youth Program Assistance Goal = $50,000
Think of it as sponsoring unforgettable childhood experiences. Your contribution will help a child participate in a youth program, while taking the stress off of struggling parents to fund it.
By donating to our Family Support Resources, you are helping us ensure inclusion. Your contribution will go directly into the hands of families in need of financial assistance for program participation. These families are not limited in their choice of program either. By filling out our simple program assistance application, qualifying families will become eligible to receive up to $2,000/child annually for ANY program and/or any equipment and supplies needed to aid in their participation.

With our goal of $50,000 we plan to strengthen 25+ childhood experiences in 2024.

As we meet our goals for youth program participation and alleviate the financial burden placed on parents, we will begin using funds to build a foundation for parent-specific programs. All too often we forget that parents are the pillar to the family.
Community Engagement
Community Outreach Events Goal = $20,000
Your donation to our Community Engagement campaign is what helps bring a big piece of our mission to life. This is where we get to bring the people together to fulfill our community commitment!

We plan to host at least 2-4 annual community engagement events. These events will provide a safe, friendly environment to bring the community together and accomplish the following:

Get feedback for community needs

Our goal is to reach every community in the Metro-Detroit area! As we grow and gain more funding, a large part of our focus will be directed to marketing our program to reach more families. This will help improve our organization’s resource allocation so that we can serve and support the community in the most impactful way possible!
Fundraising
Toast to the Youth 2024 Event = $35,000
On Course for A Cause Fundraising Event = $25,000
Fundraisers are our organization’s direct funding effort in supporting our cause. By contributing to our Fundraising campaign, you are helping AMF plan, organize, and host events to grow resources for children and families in the community. Our fundraisers also act as networking and outreach tools to get potential partners excited to get onboard and bring awareness to the needs in the community. Networking is an important piece of AMF as it supports 2 of our organization’s core values - valued relationships and powerful engagements. Some interactive fundraisers that we are planning to host include:
Formal networking events
Charitable sporting competitions
Fashion shows featuring local artists
Virtual campaigns
Auctions and raffles
From the venue that we choose, to the hord’oeuvres we serve; we want to make every interaction with Aktive Minds Foundation a quality experience.
